Dr. Tom is a primary eye health/eye care professional. He provides comprehensive eye health exams, treatment and management of eye disease and injuries, as well as contact lens fittings and evaluations.
Commitment to listening to all patient concerns and addressing those concerns has always been the primary goal for Dr. Tom. Taking the time to truly understand patient issues, whether they be young or not-so-young anymore, is the most important aspect of what we do! We want to ensure that our patients are pleased with their vision care and also feel well taken care of as they leave our office.
Dr. Tom was born and raised in Helena, Montana. He then attended Montana State University in Bozeman (Go Cats!) and graduated in 1997. He received his doctorate degree in Optometry from Southern California College of Optometry in 2002. He remains an active member and Past-President of the Montana Optometric Association and also an active member of the American Optometric Association.
Outside of the office, Dr. Tom likes to spend his time with family enjoying the outdoors either in the mountains or on the water. An avid fly fisherman always has a fly rod on the ready, and Dr. Tom has been known to pull over at any given sign of a promising fishing hole. Camping and bonfire s’mores have always been family favorites, as well as skiing the mountains in winter time.
